The Yemeni Armed Forces announced 2,103 precision targeting operations against Houthi military targets across multiple fronts under Operation “Dawn of Yemen,” while the Saudi-led coalition said it destroyed 82 military targets in four governorates in response to attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Abha International Airport.

The Armed Forces said their operations targeted Houthi movements, fortifications, supply lines and military positions. According to the announcement, the operations neutralized 1,860 Houthi personnel and destroyed hundreds of pieces of military equipment, materiel and military sites.

In a separate statement issued Wednesday, coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki al-Malki said the coalition’s joint forces conducted an operation that destroyed 82 Houthi military targets in Saada, Hodeidah, Al-Jawf and Marib.

Al-Malki said the targets included 11 ballistic-missile storage facilities in mountainous areas of Saada, alongside command-and-control centers, communications systems, missile and weapons depots, and Houthi headquarters.

He linked the operation to Houthi attacks on civilians and civilian facilities in Saudi Arabia, most recently the attacks on the airports in Riyadh and Abha, saying those attacks would not go unanswered.

The latest announcements come as Operation “Dawn of Yemen” continues alongside Houthi missile attacks on Saudi Arabia and intensified strikes against the group’s military capabilities and supply networks inside Yemen.

Before the operation began, Yemeni government forces had announced 2,725 airstrikes and targeting operations across six successive military statements. Combining the October 5 and October 7 tallies brings the number of operations announced since the campaign began to 3,225, with 3,607 Houthi personnel reported neutralized. The combined operational total across both phases reaches 5,950.

The combined figures treat the October 7 tally as additional to the October 5 tally. The coalition’s 82 destroyed targets are recorded separately; the 11 ballistic-missile storage facilities are included within that figure.
