AL-JAWF — Yemeni government forces, backed by tribal fighters, have recaptured Al-Yatmah, including its market, mountain positions and surrounding desert, according to field reports. The forces continued advancing towards other parts of Khabb wa al-Sha’af district, with Al-Hazm, the provincial capital, as their broader objective.

The advance follows the recapture of Al-Labnat camp and the government push towards Al-Hazm from the east, opening two axes towards the city: Al-Yatmah to the north and Al-Labnat to the east. Sheba Intelligence previously reported the advance beyond Al-Labnat following air strikes against Houthi positions and reinforcements.

Meanwhile, a new front has opened in Haradh, in northern Hajjah Governorate, where military sources reported a broad operation and advances towards Houthi positions. The capture of the city has not been confirmed.

The fighting now spans seven governorates: Al-Jawf, Hajjah, Al-Bayda, Marib, Taiz, Al-Dhalea and Hodeidah. In Al-Bayda, government forces are continuing operations in Al-Humayqan areas as part of the offensive covered in Sheba Intelligence’s latest report. Clashes also continue in Marib, western Taiz and the Hays sector of southern Hodeidah, alongside an expanding air campaign against Houthi positions and supply routes.

The military urged civilians and drivers to avoid several roads and corridors linking Sana’a, Al-Jawf and Marib until further notice, citing safety concerns.

The Interior Ministry said its forces were ready to secure governorates before, during and after their recapture, without disclosing deployment arrangements.
