Yemeni military reports 1,292 new strikes, more than 430 Houthi fighters neutralized, and over 100 military vehicles destroyed or disabled, bringing the reported cumulative total to more than 21,000 strikes since the offensive began.

Yemen’s armed forces announced 1,292 precision strikes over the past 24 hours under the ongoing Dawn of Yemen offensive, reporting more than 430 Houthi fighters neutralized and over 100 military vehicles and pieces of equipment destroyed or disabled, as government forces made further territorial gains in Marib and continued fighting in Taiz.

According to Sheba Intelligence’s compilation of military statements, the cumulative figures since the operation began in early October have risen to more than 21,248 strikes, approximately 13,557 Houthi fighters neutralized, and over 3,215 military vehicles and pieces of equipment destroyed or disabled, based on figures released by the Yemeni military.

Advances in Marib and Houthi Commanders Captured in Taiz

The military said government forces on the eastern front in Marib expanded their breakthrough through Houthi defensive lines, capturing additional strategic positions and commanding heights following airstrikes and artillery support targeting fortifications, defensive positions, and supply routes.

In Taiz, warplanes continued targeting Houthi reinforcements and combat formations as government forces and local resistance fighters repelled attacks and prevented the group from making further territorial gains.

The military also confirmed the capture of several Houthi field commanders during the fighting, saying they were being handled in accordance with established military and legal procedures. It did not disclose their identities or the number detained.

On the southern and western fronts, government forces maintained military pressure on Houthi positions, while engineering units continued clearing landmines and explosive devices, reopening routes, and securing recaptured areas.

More Than 21,000 Strikes Since the Offensive Began

The latest developments follow a military announcement on October 15 reporting more than 1,250 strikes, approximately 700 Houthi fighters neutralized, and over 150 military vehicles and pieces of equipment destroyed or disabled.

In an October 15 report, Sheba Intelligence documented how the Dawn of Yemen offensive was approaching 20,000 reported strikes amid intensifying fighting in Taiz and continued attacks on Houthi positions across several fronts.

With the latest figures included, the cumulative number of reported strikes has exceeded 21,000, while military statements indicate continued personnel and equipment losses among Houthi forces, despite daily fluctuations in operational intensity and reported results.

Military Warns Against Recruitment of Students and Young People

The Yemeni armed forces also warned families in Houthi-controlled areas against recruitment campaigns conducted by the group, urging parents to prevent their children from being sent to the front lines.

The warning follows information obtained by Sheba Intelligence from local sources about the recruitment of secondary school and university students in Houthi-controlled territories, particularly in Dhamar governorate, as the group seeks to replenish its ranks following heavy reported losses on the Taiz and western coastal fronts.

The latest military developments indicate that government forces continue to rely on airstrikes and fire support to weaken Houthi defenses, reserves, and supply networks, while expanding ground advances in Marib and containing Houthi attacks in Taiz, which remains one of the most heavily contested fronts of the offensive.

Editor’s note: The cumulative figures are based on Sheba Intelligence’s compilation of military statements, assuming the reporting periods do not overlap. Sheba Intelligence has not independently verified the reported strike totals or casualty figures.
