Yemeni government forces report 1,200 Houthi fighters neutralized and more than 440 military vehicles destroyed or disabled in the latest operations.

Airstrikes targeted oil facilities in Al-Sabaha, west of Yemen’s capital Sanaa, as well as sites in Bajil and Ras Isa in Hodeidah governorate, amid continued military operations against the Houthis under the ongoing Dawn of Yemenoffensive.

The strike on the Yemen Petroleum Company’s central facility in Al-Sabaha followed an evacuation warning issued by the Coalition Joint Forces Command, which urged civilians to leave the site and published a map identifying the designated area for their safety. The extent of the damage and any casualties remain unclear.

Meanwhile, Yemen’s armed forces announced 2,200 precision strikes using fighter aircraft, drones, field artillery, rocket launchers and sniper units. The operations targeted Houthi command-and-control centers, defensive fortifications, weapons depots, troop concentrations and supply routes.

According to the military statement, the latest operations neutralized approximately 1,200 Houthi fighters and destroyed or disabled more than 440 military vehicles and pieces of equipment, as government forces advanced along the eastern and southern fronts.

In Taiz, concentrated strikes targeted Houthi convoys and reinforcements, disrupting their ability to reorganize and support frontline positions. Military engineering units also continued clearing mines and explosive devices from recaptured areas along the western front, securing roads and access routes.

Cumulative Toll of Operation Dawn of Yemen

According to figures previously compiled by Sheba Intelligence on October 12, government forces had conducted more than 10,465 strikes, neutralized over 7,977 Houthi fighters, and destroyed or disabled more than 1,385 military vehicles and pieces of equipment since the offensive began on October 4–5.

These cumulative figures are based on successive military announcements, assuming each covers a separate operational period. They exclude coalition air operations reported independently and have not been independently verified.
