Yemeni Military Reports 1,122 Operations in First Comprehensive Toll Since Launch of Liberation Campaign
The latest figures bring the total number of military operations announced across the two phases to 3,847 — including 2,725 before the launch of the nationwide liberation campaign and 1,122 since the new phase began.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced 1,122 precision targeting operations across the Saada, Al-Jawf, Taiz and western coast fronts, marking the first comprehensive military toll released since the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) announced the start of operations to retake remaining Houthi-held territory and restore state institutions.
The latest figure represents the first cumulative operational tally announced by the military since the new phase began. Before the declaration of the nationwide liberation campaign, Sheba Intelligence had tracked 2,725 strikes and targeting operations based on successive official military statements.
Taken together, the figures bring the total number of military operations and strikes announced across the two phases to 3,847.
According to the Armed Forces, the latest operations neutralized 1,747 Houthi fighters and destroyed or disabled 364 military vehicles, pieces of equipment, and transport and logistical assets.
The operations involved combat aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), artillery, missiles, multiple rocket launchers and sniper units.
Targets included Houthi artillery and rocket-launching positions, defensive fortifications, approach and reinforcement routes, supply lines, military reinforcements and troop concentrations, key positions, and command-and-control centers.
The Armed Forces said the operations were carried out in implementation of directives from the political leadership and following the announcement of the start of the liberation campaign to restore remaining state territory and institutions and end the Houthi takeover. It said military operations were continuing across multiple fronts under approved operational plans.
First Comprehensive Toll of the New Military Phase
The announcement marks the first comprehensive operational tally released by the Armed Forces since the PLC moved from general mobilization and military preparations to the launch of operations aimed at retaking remaining territory under Houthi control.
The PLC had ordered the Armed Forces, security services and military formations to begin carrying out their assigned missions under approved operational plans, based on decisions by the National Defense Council.
The latest military statement identifies Saada, Al-Jawf, Taiz and the western coast as the main theaters covered by the 1,122 operations. The stated targets ranged from frontline positions and fortifications to reinforcement routes, logistical networks and command-and-control centers.
2,725 Operations Preceded the New Phase
The latest toll follows an intensive military campaign documented by Sheba Intelligence in the period immediately preceding the PLC's announcement of the new phase.
Across six successive military statements tracked by Sheba Intelligence, the Yemeni Armed Forces reported a total of 2,725 strikes and targeting operations across multiple fronts stretching from northern Yemen to Taiz, Lahj and the western coast.
The previous operations also covered fronts in Al-Jawf, Marib and Al-Bayda, while military activity increasingly concentrated on Taiz and areas linked to the western coast during the final days of that phase.
The official figures therefore show two consecutive phases of military activity: 2,725 operations before the declaration of the nationwide liberation campaign and 1,122 operations since the new phase began, bringing the combined total announced by the military across both periods to 3,847 operations and strikes.
